LAUGHTER EMPIRE ORIGIN
The origin of LAUGHTER EMPIRE goes back to the moment when I realized that I was a prisoner in my own work.

I used to believe that I had to work hard for everyone. I forgot my values. I was out of alignment. I felt trapped.

I did things the way I logically believed that I should do them.
In the process, I lost – me. I lost touch with my true calling.
I felt my nervous system buckle under the weight I put on myself.


I didn’t want to get up in the morning. I procrastinated everyday. I had huge knots in my stomach all the time. I wrestled with waves of dread when work crossed my mind.

Then, I began making different choices based on how I feel inside my body. Did my stomach roll with panic or calm excitement with a new idea? If yes, I moved away from that until an idea came that had me feeling calm.

I began following my instincts. This new way felt very uncomfortable. I moved forward regardless of squirming with discomfort.

I canceled out the noise coming at me from the outside, like social media ads inviting me into courses and
programs that I didn’t go out seeking. Or like posts people sending me links because they find them “interesting.”

I stopped looking for answers from my outside environment.

I gazed into…. me. I raised up my chin. I scooped the hair off my neck and shoulders. My narrowed my eyes into
the bravery. I focused on the LAUGHTER EMPIRE philosophy of the inside-out. I began to experience life authentically, truly and completely, no matter how weird, no matter the judgments of others.
 
 

With daily practice and focus, I managed to ignore distractions that steer me away from my work’s purpose and
my desired life. I anchored myself in self-trust.

I deliberately home-in on my body’s physical reactions to ideas and events. I choose only the ideas and
experiences that feel calm to me. I now hear my inside voice and I listen. I feel my gut instincts when they rise up. I only consider options that match what I value most.

I don’t feel the need to react. I mostly respond instead. I make choices deliberately. I give myself options that
make sense for the direction I want.
I choose unconventional success markers for myself.
I respect my time and effort.
And I mostly just listen, in stillness.

LAUGHTER EMPIRE didn't start with a laugh. It started with a refusal.
I refuse to keep myself in a cycle of burnout.


I refuse to weigh myself down by stressful leadership roles.
I refuse to experience someone else’s life when I can live my own life.
